Dear Parents and Guardians,

Tá áthas an domhain orainn fáile is fiche a chur romhaibh go léir chuig ár suíomh gréasáin scoile. 

On behalf of the children and staff I would like to extend a Céad Míle Fáilte and warmly welcome you to Scoil Iosaef Naofa Cobh, where we create a happy and safe environment for all.

Our school motto is “Ár ndicheal I gConaí” which translates to our best always.

At Scoil Iosaef Naofa we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school where the abilities and talents of all children are valued, nurtured and developed. A place where social skills and life skills are promoted and pupils are educated to play a meaningful and positive role in society.

An Scoil Iosaef Naofa we believe learning should be a joyful experience. Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff are the beating heart of the school and their desire to ensure that every pupil experiences job and success is evident on a daily basis.

Our school seeks to provide a happy, secure and friendly environment where learning is paramount, with all staff, parents and children working in partnership to the end. In our school we appreciate that children come to us from a variety of cultural, religious and social backgrounds. All children are encouraged and respected for their uniqueness and we promote tolerance and understanding throughout our school.

It is our aim that every child who attends our school for whatever period of time will enjoy that experience, have their learning enriched and most importantly, feel safe and secure. It is the duty of all of us, to ensure that these aspirations are fulfilled.

Parental involvement and support are essential ingredients in providing the best education and opportunities for our children. We enjoy a positive fruitful relationship with our parent body and the wider school community. The Scoil Iosaef Naofa Parents Association plays an active role in school life and we work together as a team to ensure a happy learning environment. 

We are a school rich in tradition. Our children enjoy many of the following; school choir and Cór Fhéile, quizzes, art, games and sports such as swimming, tennis, Lego, Chess and GAA.
